Cannot install (dualboot) any windows (8/10), during installation : "a media driver your computer need is missing. this could can't install windows 7 "a required cd/dvd drive device driver is missing.. Cannot install (dualboot) any windows (8/10), during installation : "a media driver your computer need is missing. this could can't install windows 7 "a required cd/dvd drive device driver is missing..
Note this issue occurs when you try to install windows 7, windows server 2008 r2, windows 8, or windows server 2012. windows 8 or windows server 2012 load driver. So coming back to the issue, due to which installation of windows 10 remains incomplete. if you’re facing this problem, one thing every windows expert suggest you and that is to re-download the iso media setup and re-run it. while there are few other suggestions mentioned here as well, to deal this case:. The 'missing media driver' screen as i think i may not need the driver on the installation if it is some weird non-essential driver. sadly the installer gives no info on what driver is needed - i will clarify my question accordingly – larkey jul 1 '15 at 15:10.
