When you update to windows 10 from windows 7, windows 8, or windows 8.1, you may also encounter this no sound on windows 10 issue as well as other issues like blue screen, pc slow error, black screen issue, no wi-fi available, etc.. 2. go to device manager and deinstall all audio devices (also hidden devices) (you should see no more option for audio devices on device manager) 3. reboot 4. install soc chipset driver from asus (select win 8.1 32bit, works for win10) ( because i have an acer i went to their website to find the chipset driver and audio driver which was realtek.. To fix no audio output device is installed problem, try to re-enable the device. in device manager, double-click the audio device then click enable to enable the device. if this method doesn't work, try other methods..
Hey, i have acer aspire 5670, and i just reinstalled xp on it and it tells me that i have no audio device, in device manager it says audio drivers (legacy) work properly but in properties it shows no devices, i installed realtek audio drivers, it just does not work.. Big mistake! - the laptop's audio device was not installed by the time the upgrade was completed. i had to uninstall the missing device several times, rebooting each time, until i finally got the message that the device was there but the drivers could not load.. Only acer has the correct sound driver for your laptop, not realtek even though it may be a realtek device. go to the acer website that serves your country and get the sound driver for your laptop.
