Sketch portraits
[by Javier de Blas in La Rioja, Spain] A few days ago, a group dedicated to solidarity activities invited me to participate in a flea market in La Rioja (Spain) that offered varied things, from the sale of artisan and ecological products to art pieces. I came offering sketch portraits for a modest price, to the benefit of the Saharawi refugee camps. The interest of the public induced me to repeat the experience a few days later.
I love quick portraits in series: finding yourself with a face for the first time and few minutes later changing to a completely different one...
