New Airtel Data Plans 6GB for N1 500 UPDATED!

Airtel has just introduced two brand new data plans for heavy downloaders. Recently, it was discovered Airtel had scrapped the unlimited night plans (Click here to read about it) which was charged hourly. This was a huge blow to the face of heavy downloaders who always took advantage of the fast internet speed at night, to download heavy files.

The new Airtel data plan has been released to replace the old time based nightly data. These new plans only work at night from 12am to 5am. It should also be noted that these plans CANNOT be rolled over. If you dont exhaust your data before 5am, thats the end. Although I dont see any reason why you shouldnt.


HOW TO SUBSCRIBE:
First, you have to migrate to the Airtel SmartTrybe Plan. Dial *312#, then press 1 to migrate. To subscribe for the 500MB plan at N25, dial *312# then press 3. For the 1.5GB plan at N50, dial *312# also, then press 3 to subscribe.
The other plan introduced by Airtel is the 1Gb for N500 plan, valid for a week (Day and Night). To subscribe for this just dial *312# and press 2 to subscribe.

UPDATE: GET 6GB FOR N1,500. DIAL *440*161#. WORKS ALL DAY AND IS COMPATIBLE WITH ANY DEVICE. 


In summary, I think these new plans are worth your money but very bad alternatives to the much rated unlimited night browsing. I just hope Airtel doesnt play funny and double charge on data. What do you think? Let me know in the comment box!

Each Match has up to 20 different links categorised by the kilobyte per second speed of the stream, so if you are having a poor internet connection, you are covered. The good thing about Rojadirecta is that, 5 minutes to the start of the match, a list of the most stable links will be ranked at the top, so you dont end up searching for stable links to enjoy your match.
     They also offer highlights to matches (Even live matches) thanks to their forum.

MTN BIS WORKING ON PC VIA SIMPLE SERVER UPDATED JULY 2016

Most people are currently tweaking their Android IMEI to blackberry to use GLO BIS on their android but MTN BIS has been blazing on PC via a tool called simple server for a while now without most people knowing. Luckily, for as low as 100 naira, you can get 24hrs unlimited browsing at super fast speed using this trick. Lets get down to the procedures.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: SimpleServer doesnt work on MTN since May 2016. MTN has blocked the resource. For an even better trick, click here. 

Tools
=> Simple server - You can download from here
=> A modem
=> A PC
=> Mozilla Firefox web Browser

PROCEDURES

=> Download the Simple Server file above and extract the contents to your desktop.
=> Configure your modem to normal MTN web settings (i.e APN will still be web.gprs.mtnigeria.net)
=> Subscribe for one of MTN BB plans, preferably the daily plan (send "BBCDAY" to 21600, costs just 100 naira)
=> Now connect your Modem to the internet.
=> Navigate to the folder you extracted earlier and start simpleserver.exe
=> Open Firefox, Go to Options >> Advanced >> Network >> Settings . Click use Manual Proxy settings.
Enter 127.0.0.1 for proxy and 8080 for port. Tick use proxy server for all protocols.
Start surfing till your subscription expires.

NB: To use any other app like Internet Download manager, just go to options and tick use proxy and enter 127.0.0.1 as Proxy number and 8080 as port . Enjoy the amazing speed!!

How To Download Windows 10 UPDATED

As promised by Microsoft, today 29th July, 2015 is the official release date of the much talked about Windows 10 Operating system. Windows 10 is Microsofts new iteration of the ever popular Windows operating system which almost every PC runs by default. Windows 10 come swith new and exciting features but most importantly comes to correct the wrongs of Windows 8.

Windows 10 brings back the old Windows 7 styled start menu which we all loved but Microsoft thought otherwise while creating the Windows 8. It also comes with a new Internet browser named Microsoft Edge which boasts many features absent in our normal daily browsers. The browser is said to be faster than any other internet browser. The good thing about Windows 10 is that Windows 7 and Windows 8(8.1) users get to upgrade fo free. As long as you run a genuine Windows system and your PC meets the minimum requirements to run the new OS. Infact, some users have already gotten  notifications via Windows update that their upgrade is ready.

NB: From 29th July 2016, Windows 10 will no longer be a free update and the price starts from $119. Hurry Now and Upgrade. Download Windows 10 for free!

HOW DO I DOWNLOAD WINDOWS 10?
Since Windows 10 is a free upgrade for Windows 7 and 8.x users, dont be surprised Microsoft has started downloading it for you (especially if your windows update works automatically). Just head to Windows update and you might find an option to upgrade to Windows 10. If your PC doesnt bring up such option, you can download and upgrade your PC to Windows 10 using any of the two options below:

 OPTION 1:  Force Windows Update to download the update
==>Go to Control Panel and open Windows Update
==>Go to start menu and open Command Prompt (cmd) as administrator
==>Once it opens type without the quotes: "wuauclt.exe /updatenow" but dont press enter
==>Go back to the Windows update page already opened and click "Check for updates"
==>Go back to the opened Cmd prompt and press enter
==>Windows Update should show a prompt it is now downloading Windows 10
Note that the file is about 6Gb so you may want to check out using this MTN daily BIS tweak so you have enough bandwidth to toy with.

OPTION 2: Wait and take a Chill pill
This is especially for those who dont even run a genuine copy of Windows 7 or Windows 8.x versions but are in a hurry to install. Windows 10 ISO has just been released for free today, although it is more or less an online installer. Wait and let third party gurus dpwnload and upload an easier to download and install copy of the OS, which will most likely be compressed and not the ridiculous 6Gb worth of download you want to spend sleepless night on. I will update a link as soon as i find an offline installer that works perfectly.

HOW TO CHANGE IMEI OF ANY ANDROID PHONE Updated!!

The need for this tutorial is to enable those of you who want to rock GLO BIS on your android phones as that is the cheapest and most sensible subscription plan to browse on your android smartphones in Nigeria.

Disclaimer: IMEI change is illegal and voids the warranty of your phone. I am not responsible for any problem you create after this (though i may be willing to help) and in case you brick your device, OYO may be your case. So, follow the steps accurately.

Now, lets get down to business.

HTC PHONES

• Google/Bing how to root your phone, youd find tons of methods.
•  Download this zip file from here and extract to your desktop
• Make sure you have adb drivers on your PC, if you are not sure download PDA Net from here
• Open command prompt and type the following 

                                cd desktop 
 

                            cd platform-tools 

                               fastboot.exe 
  Press Enter after typing each of the statements as seen below.


Dont close the Command Prompt!!

=> now boot your HTC to bootloader by pressing the power button + the Vol down button till a sreen comes up.
=> connect your phone to your PC
=> In the Command Prompt you left opened, type fastboot getvar imei This will display your current imei number.
=> Now type fastboot oem writeimei "insert the new imei here without the quotes" and  wait for a successful message and dazzall!.

TECNO, INFINIX, GIONEE & OTHER MTK DEVICES

NEW METHOD UPDATE!! 
For those using new Lollipop/Marshmallow OS or have just been unable to change their MTK phone imei, download Camelephone.apk from here and install the app. After installing, open the app and grant SuperUser access. Enter the IMEI and save. Reboot the phone and youll find your new imei.

=> Make sure your phone is rooted, else follow this guide  here  or use RootGenius from here.
=> Now download Mobile Uncle tool to your android from playstore.
=> Tap Engineer mode and then Engineer Mode (MTK)

=> Tap CDS Information (search well its there), then click radio information and then tap phone 1

 => Type the following codes to the space with AT+ written

               AT +EGMR=1,7,"insert imei here with the quotes" 


  NB: Here you type the  imei with the quotes. Note that there is a space between AT and +. Also, to change Sim2 change the 7 to 10 i.e AT +EGMR=1,10.........
=> Click send and you will see a "ATcommand msent" success message now reboot your phone to complete the process.
=> Dial *06# to confirm the new imei.

For other phones like samsung, lg, sony, asus and all other non mtk devices you can try this method here .

Browse Unlimitedly on MTN with just N100 via Simple Server Updated!!

With just 100 Naira, you can browse unlimitedly with your PC for 24 hours via MTN BIS which works with simple server. This has been working since last year and I dont see it stopping anytime soon. This is a useful tweak for heavy downloaders as the 1-day BIS plan @ #100 has an unlimited data cap. So you can download as much as you want.




TOOLS

• A Modem (Either MTN or other Unlocked ones)

•  Mozilla Firefox (works with other browsers too, its just easy to set up with Mozilla)

• MTN SIM with active BIS

Download Latest  Simple Server 2015 (Just wait for 5 seconds and skip the Ad)  

PROCEDURE 

• Subscribe to MTN 1-Day BIS plan for N100 by sending "BBCDAY" "BBMIDID" to 21600 

• Set your modem up using MTN default settings (i.e APN = web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net )

• Extract the downloaded "ss.zip" file to your desktop

• Run the SimpleServer.exe file and leave open

•  Open Firefox, Go to Options >> Advanced >> Network >> Settings . Click use Manual Proxy settings.

• Enter 127.0.0.1 as proxy and 8080 as port number. Tick use proxy server for all protocols.

• Connect your Modem and start surfing unlimitedly for the next 24 hours.

You can also use other apps with simple server, Just change the proxy to 127.0.0.1 and port to 8080.

For Internet download Manager (IDM) : Go to Options > Proxy and Socks > Tick Use proxy and enter 127.0.0.1 for proxy and 8080 as port and click save.

You can do the same for Google chrome under settings > Advanced > Use Proxy

For Windows 8.1 users, you can automatically set up your system to use Simple Server so as to enable you use Windows update and other Metro Apps. It even allows you to update your antivirus. To do this Open the Charms bar (Drag your mouse to the right hand corner of your screen OR press the Start/Windows button + C on your keyboard) > Click Settings > Change PC Settings > Network > Proxy > Use Manual proxy and Enter the corresponding proxy and port. (Check the image below)


Just click save and watch wonders.
