How to Change your BlogSpot Blog Post Permalink and still Retain the old Permalink Valid

All individual blog post have a permalink that differs from that of any blog post in the web today. It is unique in the way it is made.

Now how do we change or edit a published blog post permalink? Doing this is a capital yes effective and online need your attention on this post.

But before I take you along I would like to give you an example of what permalink looks like.

Below is the permalink of one of my blog post . Now I feel like it is too long and I want to change it.


STEP 1

All i did is convert the link below

To

Now looking at the second permalink, I only used key words to make it much short for search engine to display.

How to change a blog post permalink with out breaking the existing link.

Login to your blogger Dashboard, click on post>all.

The list of all your blog post will be displayed on your screen, mark the post you want to change the permalink and click on Revert to Draft.


Use the Edit mode to open post.


Locate the permalink option at the Right mid side of your screen, click on it and select costom.
On the blank box manually input the phrase you want to use as you blog title.

Now click on Publish.

STEP 2

To setup Permalink Redirection


Now if u visit the old parmalink

https://legendtechny.blogspot.com/2016/09/free-blogspot-blog-on-blogger.7.html.

A 404 Error message will display on your screen.



On your blog Dashboard, on the bottom left side of your screen, click on setting> Search Preferences. Under Errors and Redirection > Custom Redirects, click Edit.


If you have made a previous Permalink redirection, you have to click on the "New Redirect" button to make a new URL redirection.

In blank box written "From" input the old changed URL, then in the box "TO" input the new URL gotten from changing the the old URL.

To: /2014/07/blogspot-blog-on-blogger_7.html

Select the ‘Permanent’ check box.

Click Save to Save Changes.

Why do we add Redirection.

You might have share the URL of a post in some social network or shared it to friends, for them not to get 404Error message you have to add a URL redirection.

HOW TO CHANGE IMEI OF ANY ANDROID PHONE Updated!!

The need for this tutorial is to enable those of you who want to rock GLO BIS on your android phones as that is the cheapest and most sensible subscription plan to browse on your android smartphones in Nigeria.

Disclaimer: IMEI change is illegal and voids the warranty of your phone. I am not responsible for any problem you create after this (though i may be willing to help) and in case you brick your device, OYO may be your case. So, follow the steps accurately.

Now, lets get down to business.

HTC PHONES

• Google/Bing how to root your phone, youd find tons of methods.
•  Download this zip file from here and extract to your desktop
• Make sure you have adb drivers on your PC, if you are not sure download PDA Net from here
• Open command prompt and type the following 

                                cd desktop 
 

                            cd platform-tools 

                               fastboot.exe 
  Press Enter after typing each of the statements as seen below.


Dont close the Command Prompt!!

=> now boot your HTC to bootloader by pressing the power button + the Vol down button till a sreen comes up.
=> connect your phone to your PC
=> In the Command Prompt you left opened, type fastboot getvar imei This will display your current imei number.
=> Now type fastboot oem writeimei "insert the new imei here without the quotes" and  wait for a successful message and dazzall!.

TECNO, INFINIX, GIONEE & OTHER MTK DEVICES

NEW METHOD UPDATE!! 
For those using new Lollipop/Marshmallow OS or have just been unable to change their MTK phone imei, download Camelephone.apk from here and install the app. After installing, open the app and grant SuperUser access. Enter the IMEI and save. Reboot the phone and youll find your new imei.

=> Make sure your phone is rooted, else follow this guide  here  or use RootGenius from here.
=> Now download Mobile Uncle tool to your android from playstore.
=> Tap Engineer mode and then Engineer Mode (MTK)

=> Tap CDS Information (search well its there), then click radio information and then tap phone 1

 => Type the following codes to the space with AT+ written

               AT +EGMR=1,7,"insert imei here with the quotes" 


  NB: Here you type the  imei with the quotes. Note that there is a space between AT and +. Also, to change Sim2 change the 7 to 10 i.e AT +EGMR=1,10.........
=> Click send and you will see a "ATcommand msent" success message now reboot your phone to complete the process.
=> Dial *06# to confirm the new imei.

For other phones like samsung, lg, sony, asus and all other non mtk devices you can try this method here .
