PROCEDURE to use etisalat bis on android
STEP 1: Subscribe to Etisalat Blackberry Complete Plan. Here are the subscription codes for popular ones ( For Etisalat BB Complete monthly (Costs #1000): Dial *499*3#, Etisalat BB Complete Weekly (Costs N500): *499*3*1#)
STEP 2: After you’ve successfully completed step 1, Subscribe to BB 10 daily plan by dialing *599*3*2# (costs N100). This step unlocks your BIS to work on any Device
STEP 3: Configure your device by setting your access point name (APN) to blackberryx.net
Leave all other fields empty……Save and Enjoy.
Etisalat gives 3GB for its BB Complete monthly plan, I don’t know about weekly. You can check your available Data by dialling *228#

* Remember to switch off Data transmission before loading credit.
* If you exhaust your 3GB data before the end of 30 days, dial *200# and follow the on-screen menu to Opt Out first before attempting to renew. This is because the systems are set to automatically renew your subscription at the end of 30 days and would not allow you make a new one before the period is expired.
1.Subscribe to any Etisalat blackberry plan
or dial *200# and follow the on-screen procedure
Etisalat blackberry internet data plans
*499*3# (N1,000) – 3GB data before the end of 30 days
*499*3*1# (N500) – Weekly
2. Set APN to blackberry.net
3. Simply Configure your Browsers and Software to10.71.170.5 Port 8080

6. Browse freestyle on your device.
HOTSPOTTING
1. Press the Windows Key on your keyboard, then type Internet Options and select it.
Windows 7 users will see it in the Start Menu, while Windows 8 users will find it on the Start
Screen under Settings, and Windows 8.1 users will see it on the Start Screen as well.
2. In the window that pops up, select the Connections tab.
3. Then select LAN Settings. Another window should pop up.
4. In the LAN Settings window, Tick the check box under Proxy server that reads
"Use a proxy server for your LAN" then enter 10.71.170.5 under Address and 8080
under Port. Click OK on all open windows to save settings.
5. On your Android device, switch on your data transmission and switch on your
hotspot.
6. Make sure your computers WiFi is turned on then connect and Enjoy!
NB: To protect your data from being used without your permission, add a security
password or better still, limit the number of Maximum Connections to 1.
Additional Notes.
You may find that your Whatsapp doesnt connect. Thats because Whatsapp has not started allowing proxy connections. This is what you should do.
1. Go to Playstore and download SurfEasy
2. Launch the application and get registered.
3. Click Options and press Turn ON. On the pop-up that follows, Accept and OK.
4. It should start connecting. When a secure connection is established (only takes
a few seconds), minimize the application and open Whatsapp.
5. To download Whatsapp media (pictures, videos and audios) through this connection, temporarily disconnect SurfEasy.

Comparing the old first phone with the modern ones now, you will say phone designers have really tried in a way that isnt imagined 20 years back.
Some of this old phone do exist now while others is no more available in the market today.
NOKIA 2110
This phone as one of the early phones was released in 1994. One of the first nokia phone to feauturs the popular nokia tone.
The phone is basically made for call and sending of text message.
MOTOROLA C520
looking at this phone and the Nokia 2110, there is no much difference in shape and design, this made me think that the have no knowledge of the modern phone with curved edge, right angle edge, flat and e.t.c.
The function is limited to call making and text messaging.
TRIUM
Apart from text messaging and call making, this phone has 2games, web browsers, built in hands-free and polyphonic ringtone.
This phone is taken off in the market by Trium.
BLACKBERRY PEARL
This is the first BlackBerry phone in the market, this phone was released in 2006, since then blackberry have developed in design and phone features.
