=> Make sure it goes above 100 KB/s as you refreshed, if not, switch off the data and it it back on again.

With 4G LTE now available to different parts of Nigeria, you can now enjoy the speed of broadband internet directly on your mobile device. Its time to throw your Swift/Spectranet/Smile modem to one corner. Lets get started.

NOTE
Before you think about switching to 4G LTE, you must have a 4G enabled device. The device must support band 700/800/1800/2100/2600MHz frequency. Just check the phone specification to make sure it supports the band. If you dont have a 4G LTE enabled device, you can check here for the cheapest and most affordable 4G LTE phones.

HOW TO SWITCH TO 4G LTE

MTN

MTN 4G LTE only supports band 800/1800/2100/2600MHz frequency. If your device supports it, just walk into any MTN office and request for a 4G LTE enabled SIM Card. Insert the SIM into your phone and text "4G" to 131. Make sure to check out MTN 4G LTE data plans and prices.

GLO

First of all make sure that your phone supports 700MHz LTE band. It is very important. If your phone is supported, just walk into any GLO office near you and request for a 4G LTE enabled SIM card. NTEL is the only 4G LTE network that offers unlimited data cap at the most affordable price. N1,000 will give you 2 days of unlimited data. Unfortunately, NTEL is only available in Lagos and Abuja for now. To use NTEL 4G LTE, just visit any of their store and get a SIM. Insert it into your phone and start browsing. Did I also mention that NTEL has the fastest 4G LTE service in Nigeria? For the list of their stores just check the NTEL website.

ETISALAT

Etisalat 4G LTE is the simplest to switch. If you have a 4G enabled device, just go to settings and change your network to 4G and start enjoying the speed. Meanwhile, Etisalat just increased the prices of their data plans. You may want to check them out before you decide to switch.

Still dont know which network to choose? Well, if you are looking for cheaper data plans, choose GLO 4G LTE. If you are a power user and need unlimited internet, just pick NTEL. But if you are looking for reliability and speed, just go with MTN and Etisalat 4G LTE respectively.

Etisalat 4G LTE Is Now Live Checkout 4G Speed Test Result

Im delighted to inform you that Etisalat 4G LTE is now live and out of ghost mode as it was before. When you scan the available network now, Etisalat 4G will show up on your 4G enabled smartphone and you can start using it right away without any form of SIM swap or whatever unlike MTN and Glo 4G that requires you to upgrade your SIM to a 4G enabled SIM in other to use the network.

See why 2 6 Million Subcribers Dump MTN 52 251 Dump Etisalat Network

This is weird and crazy at the same time. Why will 2.6Million subscribers dump MTN Nigeria? That is too much a loss to bear. Could it be because MTN BBLITED was blocked? Why will 52,251 subscribers dump Etisalat? Something must be absolutely wrong somewhere.

According to a recent report released by NCC, It said that the number of subscribers that browsed the internet in January was put at 95.94 million; but reduced to 93.75 million in the month of February.
The data revealed those internet users on both the Global System for Mobile communications (GSM) and the Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) networks reduced by 2,194,162

The data showed that of the 93.75 million internet users in February, 93.6 million were on GSM networks, while 150,125 users were on the CDMA.

Of the 93.6 million internet users on the GSM networks in the month under review, MTN Nigeria had 35.6 million customers browsing the internet on its network.

MTN had a decrease of 2.6 million internet subscribers in February, after it recorded 38.21 million users in the month of January. In my own view I think is because of canceling of Bblited on android.

Globacom had 25.68 million customers surfing the net in February, as the number increased by 248,593 from the January’s record of 25.43 million.this is because their BlackBerry subscription on android remain unblocked as many nigerians are still enjoying it.

Airtel Nigeria, had 17 million internet users in the month of February, as against 16.85 million customers recorded in January.

It said that Internet users on the Airtel Nigeria network increased by 224,037 in February.my view on Airtel is because their BlackBerry subscription is not working on some device

Etisalat had 15.23 million internet users in February, against the 15.28 million in January, hence, reducing by 52,251 in the month under review.

Finding It Difficult To Bypass Etisalat Speed Throttling

First of all this etisalat smart pack was just N100 or N50 and it was Unlimited without any time frame whatsoever cause what it does is to auto renew on its own. But we screwed up especially we bloggers, a blogger went and posted it on the worst site for free browsing and that is nairaland. He did this just to get traffic to his blog and it didnt take up to 2 days etisalat blocked it and it no longer auto renew on its own thereby making us to be subscribing to it once it expires which wasnt like this before.

Secondly i have always said this, for you to bypass etisalat speed throttling its just to get a working ip and port and then off your data and on it till your speed increases but some went on to call etisalat that the social me pack is slow when they are downloading and needed it to be fast not knowing that this was mearnt for chat application only but it was tweaked to work with other browsers.
PPlease anything that required Psiphon Handler, simple server, openvpn connect, tweakware etc is a tweak.

Chat Pack comes with a speed throttling restriction which is hard to bypass but the Social Packs speed throttling restriction can be bypassed.

Problems are some IPS gets blocked so you just need to change them constantly to faster ones.

Then lastly what i recently noticed that we have a huge number of smart pack users and this makes it slow coupled with the speed throttling. Many users are jam packed in one chat website like for example www.instagram.com was fast but everyone seems to be on it and i just removed www.instagram.com and now use www.skype.com booooom the speed was superb and it was so easy to bypass the speed throttling.

So what am trying to say on this is that please let us spread up and not to jam pack a particular chat website before it was mobile.facebook.com, facebook.com, whatsapp.com, www.instagram.com and now am telling you guys that www.skype.com is fast and easy to bypass the speed throttling but many will now overcrowd it.
Please any chat application website you know just use it with a working ip and it will be fast for you thats another discovery i noticed.

How To Check BVN Details On Any Mobile Phone MTN Airtel Etisalat

Checking your BVN details on MTN, Airtel and Etisalat just got easier. If you have been having problems accessing where you stored the Bank Verification number when you need it ASAP, dont worry, You can now check your BVN details on any mobile phone, be it a Nokia Torchlight or an iPhone 6s. All you need to do is dial a code on the phone with the number you registered with and your BVN details will be sent to you via SMS.

How To Check Your BVN (Bank Verification Number):

To check BVN details on any mobile phone, follow these steps:

Just Dial *565*0# on your mobile phone with the number you registered with.
Youd receive a confirmation message with your BVN details delivered to you.
A token fee of N10 will be deducted from your account balance.

Note that it is only available on Airtel, Etisalat and MTN networks for now. For some reasons, GLO is not included.

Remember, BVN registration ends on 31st October 2015. Hurry up and register if you havent. Dont fall victim for scam text and e-mails as your bank will NEVER ask you for your BVN details via a text nor e-mail. Dont fall victim

Simple Android Server Now Perfectly Working With Etisalat Social Pack Power all ur Apps no Nid 4 Auto Droid Proxy

Still working or probably started working with the social and smart pack including the mtn bis. For Etisalat Social Pack you will have to get a very strong ip and port for it to be able to work and you must also update to the latest simple server version on Google play store. or here or here

I will be making a screenshot about this, so check them very well.

The first step to do is to configure your network settings like this:

Proxy: 127.0.0.1

Then go to your simple server and configure it like this

Please in the injection line leave four(4)spaces that is four lines, please do it with the arrow key on your keyboard. Like i said before simple server requires strong ip and port for it to work and i will be working on that too.

This is the final nail on Blackberry users. If you are still glued to your old Blackberry Smartphone, it is time to sow it as a seed to someone else or separate the battery from the phone and keep it in a safe place for reference purposes.

The first blow that kept Blackberry unbalance was when Whatsapp discontinue supports for BlackBerry devices, this extensively affected their market share and caused Blackberry to bow to pressure by producing her firstAndroid powered device in 2015 calledPriv.

However, Priv failed the company, failed the city and failed her customers; hence T-Mobile, one of the largest retail store in the US have stopped the sale of Blackberry Priv,AT&T one of blackberry Allie also backing out.

And now, Etisalat have discontinued Blackberry Internet Services also known as BIS subscriptions. Here is the message they sent to their Blackberry subscribers.

HOW TO USE ETISALAT BB PLANS ON PHONES ANDROID PC

MODE 1

PROCEDURE to use etisalat bis on android
STEP 1: Subscribe to Etisalat Blackberry Complete Plan. Here are the subscription codes for popular ones ( For Etisalat BB Complete monthly (Costs #1000): Dial *499*3#, Etisalat BB Complete Weekly (Costs N500): *499*3*1#)

STEP 2: After you’ve successfully completed step 1, Subscribe to BB 10 daily plan by dialing *599*3*2# (costs N100). This step unlocks your BIS to work on any Device

STEP 3: Configure your device by setting your access point name (APN) to blackberryx.net
Leave all other fields empty……Save and Enjoy.
Etisalat gives 3GB for its BB Complete monthly plan, I don’t know about weekly. You can check your available Data by dialling *228#

Steps to configure etisalat bis For PC:

* Remember to switch off Data transmission before loading credit.
* If you exhaust your 3GB data before the end of 30 days, dial *200# and follow the on-screen menu to Opt Out first before attempting to renew. This is because the systems are set to automatically renew your subscription at the end of 30 days and would not allow you make a new one before the period is expired.

1.Subscribe to any Etisalat blackberry plan
or dial *200# and follow the on-screen procedure
Etisalat blackberry internet data plans
*499*3# (N1,000) – 3GB data before the end of 30 days
*499*3*1# (N500) – Weekly
2. Set APN to blackberry.net
3. Simply Configure your Browsers and Software to10.71.170.5 Port 8080

How to Make Etisalat Bis work on all android phones

For Android Users, use this settings:
1. Subcribe to any of the BB Plans
2. Set your APN to blackberry.net
3. In proxy and port insert 10.71.170.5

If you’re unable t use your chat apps,
power with auto proxy.
NOTE: All their plans come with 3GB except
the Daily Plan that is 50mb.

This tweak has been active for months now and is still very functional.
All you need is an android phone or any other phone that allows you configure APN settings manually and has the ability to share its network (hotspot).

To subscribe for Etisalat BIS complete (3GB data for 30 days) at N1000, see this list https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-83.html or dial *200# and follow the on-screen procedure. This is safer because the subscription code sometimes changes, but the SIM menu codes remain up to date. Remember to switch off Data transmission before loading credit.

6. Browse freestyle on your device.

HOTSPOTTING

1. Press the Windows Key on your keyboard, then type Internet Options and select it.

    Windows 7 users will see it in the Start Menu, while Windows 8 users will find it on the Start
    Screen under Settings, and Windows 8.1 users will see it on the Start Screen as well.

2. In the window that pops up, select the Connections tab.

3. Then select LAN Settings. Another window should pop up.

4. In the LAN Settings window, Tick the check box under Proxy server that reads
    "Use a proxy server for your LAN" then enter 10.71.170.5 under Address and 8080
     under Port. Click OK on all open windows to save settings.

5. On your Android device, switch on your data transmission and switch on your
    hotspot.

6. Make sure your computers WiFi is turned on then connect and Enjoy!

NB: To protect your data from being used without your permission, add a security
        password or better still, limit the number of Maximum Connections to 1.

Additional Notes.
You may find that your Whatsapp doesnt connect. Thats because Whatsapp has not started allowing proxy connections. This is what you should do.

1. Go to Playstore and download SurfEasy

2. Launch the application and get registered.

3. Click Options and press Turn ON. On the pop-up that follows, Accept and OK.

4. It should start connecting. When a secure connection is established (only takes
    a few seconds), minimize the application and open Whatsapp.

~~5. To download Whatsapp media (pictures, videos and audios) through this connection, temporarily disconnect SurfEasy.~~
