Flash Unbrick or Upgrade MediaTek MTK Devices With WiseLinkTool MultiPortDownload Tool

This is another tool which can be used in flashing our MediaTek MTK devices. It works basically like SP Flash Tool but can read scatter files which are either in .txt or .sca format.
Has multi port option which can flash many similar devices at same time.
OK now lets go to how to use WiseLinkTool

Download WiseLinkTool v4.1.0.39 or WiseLinkTool v4.6.4.44
Download and install MTK USB VCOM drivers from here or here orhere
Extract, install and launch by opening WiseLinkTool.exe inside installation folder
Click on Open RegCode File Navigate and select ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.key from extract folder
Click OK

Now Click on the button with ... to load scatter file (Scatter files can either be in .txt or .sca format)
Navigate and select the scatter file of the device you want to flash/unbrick or upgrade.
Tick the required partition to flash (Tick all for complete flash or upgrade)
Click Download Button and connect phone to PC

When process is complete,the phone will reboot or start charging depending on the option selected After Downloaded Tab.
Note that first boot after flash
Congrats! you have successfully flashed your device

Common Errors after flashing a device
If you have null or invalid imei number after flash, restore with mtk engineering mode app, chamelephon, SN Write Tool or mtk droid tools
If device bootloops after flash process, do a factory reset from recovery.
If screen of device divides/displays funny colours when boot up, use another ROM or Firmware

How to flash/unbrick MTK smart phones using MultiPortDownload Tool

Multiport Download Tool (MDT) is just another great alternative tool used for flashing MTK smart phones. Follow the steps below and learn how to use Multiport Download Tool to flash or unbrick MTK devices.

Download MultiportDownloadTool for smart phones from here (Latest version preferable)

Download and install smart phone drivers from here

Extract the MultiportDownloadTool you downloaded

Launch SPMultiPortFlashDownloadProject.exe

If you get a pop up showing Fail (its because the DA file has not been loaded),

Just click OK

To load DA file, click on File and select Open Download Agent Filethen navigate to the folder of MultiportDownloadTool and selectMTK_AllInOne_DA.bin

Click Scatter file button

Navigate to the folder containing the ROM

Select the scatter file found inside (eg. MT6582_Andriod_scatter)

Under DA Download All Section,

Tick high speed and Auto detect

Open Device Manager by clicking on Help and select Device Manager

Double Click on Ports (COM & LPT)

Connect the device you want to flash

Note the COM Port number

Disconnect the device

On some versions of MultiportDownloadTool , all you need is to click Scan button and connect the device.The COM port will be detected automatically.

Go back to MultiportDownloadTool and tick the COM Port noted

Click Start button on the corresponding port number ticked.

Now connect the device with battery inserted.

Flash process begins when you see a yellow progress bar

The process is complete when you see DL OK and 100% in the progress bar.

ERRORS!!

If you see a pop up showing FAIL with Cannot find CheckSum.ini file..... after clicking Start button,

Download CheckSum_Gen.exe from here

Copy it to the folder containing the scatter file

Launch CheckSum_Gen.exe

Wait for the process to complete and he CheckSum.ini file (process takes about 30seconds)

You can now click Start button to flash your device.

Convert Download YouTube Video using Android Phone or Laptop

This being my first time of downloading a YouTube video on my Android phone.

Have been looking for a means to download a YouTube video which I so much loved to view on my leisure time without a Wi-Fi connection, until I came across this great site onlinevideoconverter

Having the experience of using it I can say it is easy and simple to use, now think of sharing my experience with you.

Step 1

1. Open the official YouTube app on your android phone, click on the magnifying glass icon to search for a video.

2. Click on the 3 vertical dots at the top-right hand of the screen, look down to see a share option.

3. Choose your Email account to get the video URL(see pics below)

The URL of the video will appear on your compose email message box
...now long press on the video URL to copy it.(see snapshot below)

Step 2

1. Now lunch your browser (I advice you use your Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome) inputs this url www.onlinevideoconverter.com or click on it to open.

2. Paste the copied URL into the box that says past link here and choose the video format, I suggest you select the Mp4 video format.

Note:you can convert the video to audio format, by selecting mp3(the default format).

3. Click on convert, wait for the conversion to take black. After the conversion click on the download button on your screen to download.

Select the application you want to use for the video download.

Here I will be guiding you to show you how you can do this with your phone for your self, so you dont have to go pay someone to help you track your car for you.

All your need is a small tracking device called TrackR, the trackR software in your smartphone, now you are ready to go.

To locate or track your car; simply lunch the TrackR application and click the Find Button, you will been shown the distance and exact location of your car.

How To Locate a Missing Or Stolen Windows Phone

???Loosing your phone without you knowing seems to be the end of your joy, sometime it hurts.

We are here to serve you better and get a smiling again.

Enable this settings tagged “find my phone” immediately you purchase your window phone.

Now! To enable this feature, go to Setting and open the system Application by clicking on it. Open the find my phone option and configure it.

To configure it simply tap ont the two option tagged

“send apps to my phone using push notification and send my phone location periodically and before the battery runs down to make it easy to find”

see Image Below.

This enabled feature and the window phone app store uses text message to Send Command to your phone. Also only 15 text message will be sent to your phone in 3 days basis if you ain’t using Push Notification which is unlimited and cheaper.

Now! You can find your lost phone location on a Map

• Using your PC open your browser and sign to windowphone.com

• In the phone menu click “Find My Phone”

• Adhere to the instructions on the dialogue box (This will be done once, and after that your phone location will be automatically show on a map after you have clicked on the find my phone option)

after locating your phone, you can now choose actions like, Make your phone ring, erase your stored data and lock your device all will be done online.How to activate any actionAction 1; Make Your Phone Ring,

• Using your PC open your browser and sign to windowphone.com• In the phone menu click “Find My Phone”• Adhere to the instructions on the dialogue box (This will be done once on the first time you ring your phone)

NOTE; this feature is to be used when you believe that you lost your phone nearby.

Action 2; Erase data

You can do this when you are sure that you won’t get your phone back.

• On your computer, open a web browser and sign in to Windowphone.com• In the My Phone menu, click Find My Phone.• Click Erase.

Action 3; Lock Your Phone

Do this when you can’t get your phone immediately.

• On your computer, open a web browser and sign in to windowphone.com•In the My Phone menu, click Find My Phone.• Click Lock, and then follow the instructions. You can setup a password if you don’t have any on your phone, this password will be used to unlock your phone when it gets to you.• We do advice you to provide a phone number or an email address in the message box, so someone who finds
your phone can contact you.
