While everyone’s attention has been on MTN, Etisalat Nigeria has been in a low voice building their own 4G LTE network. This 2016 is turning out to be the year of 4G LTE mobile in Nigeria. Now we have InterC, Smile, Spectranet, ntel, Swift and MTN. Etisalat is about to join the party, now set to roll out 4G LTE Service.
If you’re in Lagos and you have 4G enable device, a quick manual search will pull up the network as seen in the screenshot below. You won’t be able to access it yet, but at least it’s comforting to let you know that Etisalat 4G LTE is in a short distance away.
Just that we are wondering how that is possible, since Etisalat doesn’t own one of the traditional 4G spectrums. MTN Nigeria had to acquire Visafone to get their hands on the necessary license to deploy 4G service. We wonder who/what Etisalat was able to corner/acquire to come out with this.

=> You will be given 3GB data but in some devices, you might see an error message.
=> Just ignore the message, your N1000 will be deducted and you will then be credited with the 3gb worth of Internet data.
=> Also to check you new data balance, just dial *140#
=> At this point you have a total of the 4gb worth of data plus 1k free airtime with only 1000 naira
Even if you dont change your IMEI, the first 1GB data given to you will work on your phone but if you want to use the 3GB data, you will have to tweak your IMEI to that of a BB10 device.
That is it guys. Although i havent tested it myself as i still have an active data on both of my airtel SIMs, will switch to this method soon as i exhaust them. But according very reliable friends of mine, this is working perfectly especially on new SIM. If your old sim doesnt work, you still have nothing to loose as you will still be given 3GB worth of data with 1k.

I think this should be the best offer to enjoy, but we understand that Glo GPRS network is very poor in many parts of this country, but I just want to you to be happy with this news, because this is how Globacom normally take the lead while others we surely follow, just have a strong believe that your favorite network are coming very soon with this new favorable data plan. Comparing the old first phone with the modern ones now, you will say phone designers have really tried in a way that isnt imagined 20 years back.
Some of this old phone do exist now while others is no more available in the market today.
NOKIA 2110
This phone as one of the early phones was released in 1994. One of the first nokia phone to feauturs the popular nokia tone.
The phone is basically made for call and sending of text message.
MOTOROLA C520
looking at this phone and the Nokia 2110, there is no much difference in shape and design, this made me think that the have no knowledge of the modern phone with curved edge, right angle edge, flat and e.t.c.
The function is limited to call making and text messaging.
TRIUM
Apart from text messaging and call making, this phone has 2games, web browsers, built in hands-free and polyphonic ringtone.
This phone is taken off in the market by Trium.
BLACKBERRY PEARL
This is the first BlackBerry phone in the market, this phone was released in 2006, since then blackberry have developed in design and phone features.
