Lenovo announces the ZUK Edge with little space for borders

Lenovo is also committed to the "borderless" mode with its Zuk Edge, a powerful smartphone with very thin borders, but not as much as the Xiaomi MiMix.

Xiaomi has clearly set the trend of "Borderless" with its MIMIX , everyone seems to want to get involved. We have new evidence with the Zuk Edge Lenovo introduced yesterday in China. The argument put forward by the firm is that the screen occupies 86.4% of the facade of the device. A nice score, but it is important to note that one does not reach the level of Xiaomi and the apparatus retains a "margin" above the screen as well as thin edges on the sides. When something is fashion, it must be promoted, even if it distorts reality a little.
For the rest the phone is quite classic with a 5.5-inch screen displaying a Full HD resolution (about 400 ppi), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor running at 2.3 GHz in the best case, it will be supported by 4 Or 6 GB of RAM depending on the version. The photo is ensured by a sensor of 13 mpx, not of double sensor, one can not yield to all the modes. 8 mpx are present at the front. The set runs Android 7.0.

The battery is 3100 mAh, which seems sufficient with a full HD screen. The now mandatory fingerprint sensor is present. Rarely, the phone also offers a cardiac sensor, something that Samsung has been integrating for a few years now, and which seems to us always superfluous. The phone is offered for the equivalent of 320 euros (excluding taxes) in its version with 4 GB of RAM and will be available on January 1st. Nothing is said about a possible marketing in France. Lenovo already offers a phone from its subsidiary with us, so we can hope.
